adventures to Carpenter Creek...

Garth and his Dad have been busy the last couple of days getting Wolife prepped for his upcoming road trip… New wheels, new bike rack, new cabinet with fridge… lots of hard work but Wolfie looks great and ready to go…
Our first night we plan to camp at Illecillewaet Campground in Glacier National Park, we've never camped here before and looks like there are tons of short to long hikes right from the campground. From there we will head south from Revelstoke to the valley of the hotsprings… so many to choose from… and eventually make it to Carpenter Creek sometime early next week, where we plan to spend most of our time…
Let the adventure begin… we plan to update along the way as long as we have cell phone coverage… Cheers...

The Icefields

We had a blast on our 25 min heli tour to the Wilson Icefield tour, a bit windy but the views were amazing. So much snow in those mountains, abnormally high amount for that time of year... interesting...

The day after our heli-tour we left the two-o-clock creek campsite and headed to Jasper to camp at the Wilcox campground at the Icefields for a couple of nights.

We hiked, relaxed, camped... so much fun... although Garth sprained his ankle on the Wilcox Pass hike... Pika and Maya were determined to chase a ground squirrel while attached to Garth's waist, we made it down the pass but the hike took about 7 hrs in total... silly Pika and Maya...

hehe, we took so many photos ;-)

stay tuned for our next adventure... first two weeks of August to escape to the Carpenter Creek valley... can't wait...
