Brrrrr

A bit chilly but well worth the campout at Mosquito Creek. Good times were had by all...

We woke up Friday morning to a couple cm's of fresh snow and it snowed off and on thoughout the day which made for a beautiful day... we hiked along Mosquito Creek in the snow and had a campfire after to keep warm.

It was freezing cold last night, the van door was frozen and wouldn't close all the way so we woke up with a nice layer of ice on all of the windows but we had a little propane heater to defrost the icy windows and continued on our way for a little hike to Bow Lake. After we made a quick stop in Banff at the Wild Flour bakery for paninis and lattes and now on our way for a cozy evening at home...

a mini fall camping trip...

It's been awhile since Wolfie has been on a camping road trip (over a month)... so we are of on a little adventure (2 nights) to Mosquito Creek Campground in Banff... we never camp in Banff as it's normally busy with tourist but with fall upon us the hope is that this campground will not be busy... fingers crossed... this campground is open all year so maybe we will venture back this winter as well... let the adventure begin...
